Owner, Bring it Home Products; All Things Illini
Sandra Jones is a successful entrepreneur who started and currently runs two businesses: Bring it Home Products and All Things Illini. Jones has operated Bring it Home Products since 2007 and launched All Things Illini in May 2011. These small businesses operate in the Greek licensed market and collegiate retail market to sell uniquely branded merchandise and gifts. All Things Illini also sells items created by students and alumni, giving this enterprise a family-feel.
Previously, Jones served as Chief Operating Officer for Provena Covenant Medical Center from 1985-2003. She managed most of the hospital’s day-to-day operations and was responsible for many notable accomplishments at Provena during her 18-year tenure. Jones created PRO Ambulance, the hospital’s emergency transportation company for Champaign County and its surrounding communities. Jones also built physician office buildings and a regional cancer center, recruited many physicians, strategically planned the future of the hospital, and facilitated board retreats for hospital boards, mental health boards, and other organizations.
Jones’s experience in business and the medical field make her a valued contributor to several boards and organizations. She is the Community Member for the Medical Investigational Review Board, where she aids in reviewing University of Illinois’ medical research involving human subjects. She recently completed 15 years of service as the Treasurer of the Champaign Public Library and a multi-year term as Board Chair for the Urban League of Champaign County. Currently she is a member of the Executive Women’s Club of Champaign County and a volunteer driver for the local woman’s homeless shelter, Austin’s Place.
Jones earned her MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
