St. Louis Alumni Association Excellence in Teaching Award, 1996. Illinois CPA Society "Educator of the Year" award, 1996. Selected for Accounting Today "100 Most Influential People in Accounting" 1994. Emerson Cammack Outstanding Service to Undergraduates Award (college award), 1991. Alpha Kappa Psi Outstanding Professor Award, 1994.

Academic Service

Chair, Educator/CPA Issues Committee, Illinois CPA Society, 1997-2000. CPA Examination Content Task Force and Outstanding Educator Award Task Force, Illinois CPA Society. Teaching and Research

Teaches courses in auditing and financial accounting. Research focuses on professional issues such as interstate and international reciprocity and assurances provided by auditors' reports. Serves as a consultant for the development and delivery of continuing education courses, and accounting/auditing services for manufacturing.
