Real Estate and Urban Economics
The real estate and urban land economics program, part of the Department of Finance, is offered at the undergraduate (B.S.) and graduate (M.B.A., and Ph.D.) levels. An undergraduate student may pursue the major in Finance with a specialization in Real Estate after being admitted to the College of Business. The goal of the undergraduate program is to prepare students for problem solving roles in such areas as real estate appraisal, real estate brokerage, real estate development, mortgage financing and corporate real estate. The graduate program is directed toward advanced concepts and methodology useful in consulting, research, and teaching in the various applications of real estate and urban land economics.
