Small Cap Stocks
The Discovery Café begins as a Small Cap Stock. Small Cap stocks are companies with smaller market capitalizations (fewer shares with lower prices) than the major corporations, and are generally considered more speculative.
But at least we can now run out and buy twelve copies of the Financial Pages. The Discovery Café will be listed with the Small Cap stocks on any day that it trades. It’s worth buying a few more shares just to get our company’s name in the paper.

We check the listings and can see that 2100 shares changed hands and the last trade was at 51.69, up 12˘ from the previous close.
