Analysts, specially trained in the fields of Accounting, Finance, and Econometrics can read and analyze the corporations audited financial statements and project trends (that’s the theory, anyway).

However, there are a number of simple, widely published, financial statistics and ratios that anyone can use to evaluate a corporation’s financial status.
