Practicum The Finance Practicum is your chance to compete for a position on a team that solves a problem for a corporate partner. You’ll work on your project at corporate headquarters in January, before the start of the spring semester. The practicum culminates in a final presentation to the executive team at your sponsoring corporation.

Bloomberg Certification Bloomberg systems are available in the Business Library and in the Resource Center. To give our students an advantage; we provide them with the opportunity to become "Bloomberg Certified" by offering a Bloomberg certification program prior to graduation.

CFA The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification program is globally recognized in the financial asset management field. If you are considering a career in asset management, you can enroll in a CFA review course during the spring semester.

Speaker Series MS Finance Lecture Series: Each semester prominent speakers in the finance industry are invited to campus to speak to MSF students about their specialized field, company, industry experience or insight into a current topic or issue.

Guest Speakers: Finance faculty may invite industry professionals to the classroom to speak on a specific topic related to their course. These speakers are able to provide a corporate viewpoint relating theory to practice.

"I thoroughly enjoyed the fast academic pace, the challenging topics we studied, and the quality of the professors in the MSF program. Because of my degree, I was able to obtain my current position as a Chief Financial Officer.”
