Bloomberg Certification
Bloomberg is the world's leading financial information provider, serving customers around the globe. The ability to obtain data quickly is vital to financial professionals.
We are proud to provide our MSF students with access to 12 Bloomberg terminals in our
Market Information Laboratory in BIF and to 3 terminals in our
Business and Economics Library 101 Main Library Building.
You need to be logged into the Bloomberg system to watch the training videos. To ensure that the Acknowledgement of Completion is issued in your name, you must have your personal login set up (see instructions below). Be sure to bring a set of headphones to the lab or the library, as all of these videos are narrated. After logging on to Bloomberg with your personal login information, type BESS in the command line, and you will be taken straight to the Bloomberg Essentials training page.
Set up your personal Bloomberg user name
- Double click “Bloomberg Go” icon on the desktop
- Push the red CONN DFLT key on the keyboard
- At the Bloomberg login screen, press ENTER/GO
- Fill out the form to create your own login
