Jeff Brown, assistant professor of finance, gave expert testimony to a Congressional subcommittee in mid-June. The committee on aging was looking at the impact of Social Security reform on low-income workers.

Prism of Globalization

This three-day summer symposium will present contrasting and contending conceptual maps of the emerging and expanding world society composed of diverse and divided populations split by culture, religion, national and ethnic identities, tribal loyalties, and class, race, and gender differences. July 6-10: Illinois CIBER presents
World Economies, International Trade, and Globalization

This five-day intensive institute on globalization is targeted to teachers at the high-school and upper middle-school level. Read more

July 8: MSTax Info Session in Chicago
