The College of Business Office of Research currently operates twelve such centers.

Office of Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OBIE)
Huseyin Leblebici, Acting Director

OBIE was established to increase the understanding of the innovative and entrepreneurial process and to disseminate that knowledge to the business, educational and policy-making communities. The purpose of CIBER is to promote the study of international business, foreign language, and culture within the college and in other units on campus, to provide international training for regional businesses operating internationally, and to foster research to improve the teaching and practice of international business. Its activities include course and curriculum development; interdisciplinary conferences, seminars, and workshops; faculty and student exchange programs and internships; short courses directed at business professionals; and outreach programs for other institutions in the state.

Office of Organizational Research (OOR)

Office of Real Estate Research (ORER)
Roger Cannaday, Acting Director

ORER has four primary goals: 1) the sponsorship of high quality research on all aspects of real estate, 2) the dissemination of the information generated by the sponsored research to real estate professionals and the general public, 3) the contribution of useful information to public policy debates regarding real estate issues, and 4) support for the real estate education program at the University of Illinois.
