Administrative
Services
The College Office of Administrative Services provides administrative guidance
and support to the Dean and department heads/chair/directors on activities involving
annual budgets, human resources, facilities, and administrative affairs.
Alumni and External Affairs
The Office for Alumni and External Affairs offers information and
services for College alumni. These include programs, activities,
and resources that engage people in College activities. The Office
also offers opportunities for alumni constituents and friends to
network with one another and with current students.
Business Career Services
This office provides a wide range of recruitment services to both
students and employers. Services such as the Employer Forum Series,
the Career Resource Center, employment skills workshops, mock interviews,
and individual advising provide students with powerful resources
for launching a career. Career Services also provides business recruiters
help with on-campus recruiting, information sessions, individualized
consulting, career fairs, resumè books, and free job postings.
Communications
Office
The Communications Office produces the College magazine, Illinois
Business Perspectives; Alumni
News & Notes; and the College
of Business e-newsletter, a monthly on-line publication. The office also
works with unit staff in the College of Business, helping them to develop
various materials for print and web publication.
Dean's Office
The Office of the Dean directs the activities of the college and coordinates
the infrastructure that makes the college work.
Development
The Development Office brings together donor interests and College
priorities to enhance business education at UIUC. The office offers
opportunities for Investing in Excellence and other ways to advance
the mission of the College of Business.
Illinois Business Consulting (IBC)
IBC is a student consulting organization within the College of
Business. IBC enables MBA and select undergraduate students to
apply classroom learning to real business problems by serving
40-50 businesses per year. Fortune 500 companies and smaller
businesses, both for-profit and not-for-profit, use IBC services,
thus allowing students to build their skills in problem solving and project-
and client-management.
MBA Career Services
The MBA Career Services Office provides resources and advice for
Illinois MBA candidates to develop and execute a successful
job search and for company recruiters to find the perfect candidates
for their jobs. Students can benefit from self-assessment tools
(password required) to help them identify career paths or advising
on job applications and interviews. The Illinois MBA also has
a team of dedicated career services professionals ready to assist
recruiters in identifying the right candidates to meet their
hiring needs.
Office
of Business Innovation & Entrepreneurship (OBIE)
OBIE initiatives seek to increase faculty and student participation
in entrepreneurship programs and to serve the business community
with training programs and business development activities that
meet the needs of current and future entrepreneurs.
Undergraduate Affairs
The Emerson Cammack Office of Undergraduate Affairs helps students
successfully navigate their academic careers in the College of
Business. The experienced and dedicated staff of professional advisors
provides personalized counseling in courses, careers, and opportunities
for study abroad.
